Anyway fellas I think thats me out I wont be on here for a few days so if its still up there I may pop in For those I promised replies to PM me and I will reply/form another thread remember question ALL knowledge and do you research dont live in the dark or in anger etc and if you truly dont believe then stop being hypocrites with xmas etc and here is a thought IF you believe in the whole ape to man theory, do the Hindus have it right with the monkey man thing hanuman? if you dont believe that a half man monkey can exist then there is no such thing as evolution waking up one morning as a man is transformation not evolution
The only thing Christmas has to do with religion in my house is the name. Otherwise it's just a time when we spoil the kids a bit. Religion has been a victim of natural selection too. Most people I know have kept the good stuff (Christmas, Easter Eggs, weddings, christenings), and discarded the bad stuff (praying, church, Lent, hell). Even the Catholic Church softens its stance on certain things from time to time.
Absolutely ****in' clueless. I suggest you actually read a book on evolution (and I mean a book written by a serious, peer-reviewed scientist). You never know, you might actually learn something.
I know why you fast. I just think it's unnatural. As for thinking of the needy, you're not actually doing them any good unless you take the food you would have eaten and give it them. Otherwise it's just a pointless gesture. An insult almost: 'we've got ****loads of food but we just choose not to eat it'
It's unnatural to deny yourself food when it's there to eat, unless you need to lose weight. Why is it 'humble'? What do you mean by that? As for charitable giving don't you only give to Muslim charities? As for 'someone like yourself', what are you implying? You don't even know me.
It would be more humble if you weren't boasting about it as though it makes you superior. Why do Romany gypsy beggars in Muslim areas dress up as Muslims? Because they know you're far more likely to give them money if you think they are Muslim. 'Don't have any scruples'? Do you even know what that means? You're basically suggesting that I'd be ok with *****philia, rape, murder, robbery, drug running and all manner of other crimes just because I think some parts of your religion are silly? Don't you think you're jumping to conclusions a bit?
I 'clearly have no compassion' because I don't see the point in fasting? Still exaggerating and assuming a lot aren't you? Most Muslims I've known fast because it's the done thing and their parents would disapprove if they didn't. They see it as a bit of a ball-ache, and absolutely gorge themselves as soon as the sun goes down, which is surely defeating the object if they're supposed to be doing it with starving kids in Africa in mind.
