thought that our left and right backs were sublime to be honest. Can see Fonte giving away a few stupid fouls this season for grabbing people.

De Ridder was an 8 for me, otherwise the same.

He tracked back and put in so many brilliant challenges. I was really impressed. But yes his crossing consistency needs to be improved.

How could you give Lallana an 8 and De Ridder a 7? I'd put it the other way round, Lallana wasn't even close to an 8

Agree with your ratings, except for Lallana who I actually thought didn't have a great game but still would give him a 7. Schneiderlin was a joy to watch, incredible vision, accuracy when spraying the ball around, Palace couldn't get near him.

Schneiderlin was different class. Best central midfield display i've seen in a long long time. De Ridder did well although his final ball could be better sometimes. Defence was solid which was pleasing as they have looked slightly shaky recently. Great all round display!

I was ever so close to giving Morgan a 10 today (would have been my first ever 10). He really was outstanding.

Everybody at least 7-8. Impressed with Jos today. Lallana not his usual impressive self. De Ridder took advantage of the rare chance of a start.

I was quite anxious about this game this morning. I thought Zaha and Scannell would be very dangerous. As it was judging to what I was listening to on the radio, Palace were very defensive and Kelvin had a very quiet game. Very impressed with Morgan and Deano may have trouble getting back in to the side! Well done De Ridder as well, had a good game when starting, good defensive work as well, which may have suprised a few people!

Morgan clearly enjoys playing against Palace as he was by far the best player on the pitch when we played Palace in the Carling Cup.

It just shows how effective he is when he's played in his natural position (deep lying playmaker). He has been wasted out on the right hand side in the last few weeks and I was glad to see us line up 4-4-2 today.
