With Chelsea drawing we now have a massive chance to get back in the top 4

    Phil Thompson <laugh>

He is trying to make out that he is pissed off because the Man City game is boring but we all know the real reason for his glum mood.

Man City game over. United now level with them. So much for City running away with it.

That would be amazing but top 4 would do for me. After the way this season started, to be in the top 4 just as the year ends will be unreal.

So coming top 4 is now a failure. You really think we can compete with City and United with our resources?

What do you mean 'LOL Utd'?

They can spend £20 odd million on a keeper that they can rotate. Not to mention Young and Jones. Also their wage bill is bigger then ours. And lets not forget them having one of the greatest managers that has ever lived. This season we have got the same points as we did last season at this stage. And that was with Nasri and Fabregas. United and City have gone another level in the summer with their spending. And we can't match that.

We had to sell before buying. That is the difference. Today United had Berbatov scoring 3 goals and he has been their FOURTH choice in terms of forwards this season. This man is a £30 Million player. They had no pressure to sell him and have kept in the squad.

Would they? Fabregas has always said that he wanted to go back to Barcelona. And when the best team in the world want you then its hard to resist. United won things and they could not keep Ronaldo who like Cesc always said he wanted to play in Spain. Nasri is a greedy twat. He was given a good deal to reward him for his excellent '3 months' and once he heard about what City offered him he was gone. And that is why we can't compete with City. They can pay a player like Nasri as much as they can without even using him as a proper first team player. Sorry we can't compete with a team like this.

That twat Nasri pointed out the City fans as one of the reasons for him moving. That sums him up. We could never offered him the wages City did. As for as I am concerned we where right to not give in to his demands. No way in hell should he have been on the same or more money then Van Persie.

Also watching the Cesc interview yesterday, it really did hit him home some of the problems last season. According Cesc he was not as motivated last season. Also the players did not respond to him. Is that because they could not listen to a player that did not want to be there? Possibly. I can imagine the shocking atmosphere with Cesc moping around when everything was going wrong. This season we have great leader who all the players love and respect. And off the pitch him and his wife have been trying build team spirit by getting everyone to join in team bonding exercises and so one.
