TopClass: Well, am pretty big (well over 6ft) but, even so, I sure don't represent 2% of the forum! Agree with you on Somersby, and napped him early this morning accordingly. Hopefully the tongue-strap will help. Think he will get the 3-miles on this park course but we'll have to wait and see. If he can keep up, he surely has a squeak? Really fine write-ups by both yourself and Zenyatta. A lot of you guys put the so-called pro's to shame! So, , to all of you who do these summaries. OK, back to the family gathering, and, of course, bubble-and-squeak (with a few pints of the best beer)...........
My first bet coming up (already!!) - Big Occasion in the first at Huntingdon. He went about his business very nicely on debut at Chepstow and looked like he will stay all day so the step up in trip should really suit him.
<mine had too much xmas pudding. Very impressive from the King horse beautifully ridden by Wayne Hutchinson
Wish they'd get that Irish twat off and show us the horses before the off - I'd want a look at the horse before the off
Morning all, Today is a big day for us racing fans, lets hope Kauto Star runs well and comes home fit and well. I hope he can do it, but I think Long Run will have the race at his mercy if he jumps properly. My bets for the day - Jollies in the King George(KS/LR)/Binocular - Double Somersby to place/Binocular - Double Somerrsby to place - NAP Pause And Clause - 25/1 EW and a go on the Scoop 6 for the hell of it. Off to see my lads get mullered by Mr J Rhodes. Happy days.
Little dabble on the King horse at Huntingdon - Mickytaker. Then Tetlami at Kempton - very impressed with his comeback run last time
