He talks so much crap it's unreal, here's another gem:

"At the heart of Manchester United is something real, something identifiably Mancunian. It is fundamental to the success of the club. It's a precious commodity and Liverpool have it too. Arsenal and Chelsea and Leeds United don't."

Really? What planet is he on?

Shouldn,t take too much notice of a bloke who is a legend in his own mind.
I think he was trouble at Man U & Ferguson ditched him at the right time.
Clearly cannot cut the mustard as a manager (ie Ipswich) he spouts rubbish just to keep his name in the frame.
The way he treated McCarthy when he was manager of Rep of Ireland was a bloody disgrace - no club with any principles should touch him with a barge pole and why a TV commentary set up invites his worthless views is beyond me

Agree with the above post, useless as a manager so he has to spurt off garbage from time to time to grab the dwindling media attention that he attracts.

you were not even mentioned !!!... lol thats the history you have !, at least we have had those days.
We have more chance of recapturing them than you have of even dreaming about them.

I wholeheartedly agree with every point you've made, especially the McCArthy one. His treatment of him and Irish football supporters was disgusting. Imagine how the thousands of Irish supporters who spent fortunes to get to the World Cup felt when Keane walked out. Personally I wouldn't walk the same side of the street as that scumbag if I ever had the misfortune to run into him

He actually said this **** in 2003. Complete rubbish. Our club's success has always been built on the Yorkshire value of hard work, and that's why we'll always respect players who are energetic and passionate over talented wasters who can't be arsed putting themselves about for the greater good of the team. Other fans don't see that, and if that's not identifiably Leeds, I don't know what is.

The Leeds Salute, flying tackles, the white shirt and White Rose in the badge, our partisan support and sometimes stubborn 'against the world' attitude, the demand for loyalty, respect for honesty, valuing of tradition, 'side before self', 'keep fighting', 'marching on together... at least until the world stops going round', '**** 'em all'.

Keane can go to hell, we have a more identifiable culture than almost any other English club. He might be right about Arsenal in this instance but he's a total ****wit who should have served time for the tackle on Haaland. Crap manager who knows nothing of Leeds United.
