A couple of bits I considered important in bold. In particular:
    - I found it interesting Massa got so many overtakes despite appearing to have a disappointing season.
    - Kobayashi might not be kamikaze any more but he still got the third most overtakes
    - And also that DRS had a role in nearly half the overtakes. I take that to mean it can be beneficial but not the only means of overtaking; up to you how you choose to take it.

(Anyone think it's a little too coincidental Schumacher was top given he's Mercedes' driver? :bandit:)

My only question is does anyone have stats for 2010. Want to compare. :D

Yeah we've seen similar stats before. Its just that Mercedes have left in the first lap, probably in order to make shumacher come out on top. The Ferrari's also had a reputation for fast starts.

And with Massa all it shows is he spent to much time overtaking drivers in much worse cars he should never have been near.

But I thought Schumacher had a reputation for having good first-lap pace?

    Agreed on the second though

Excatly. Most lists like these dont count the first lap and i think Buemi had the most passes.

Yeah I did mate, but it's all good tomtom... well done Michael Schumacher. The king of overtaking. Eg. Montreal ;)
Being able to overtake, and that cleanly with his experience better than 23 other drivers on the grid. Pat on the back.
Granted he has overtaken slower cars.

Lets not forget that on some occasions Schumacher didn't set a time when he got into Q3 and therefore qualifed lower than what the car was probably capable of. Nonetheless, he and Buemi are ahead by quite some margin.

What would be interesting to know would be how many of Schumacher's/Buemi's passes were by DRS.
