Cheers marra, I saw some major differences for the better last time I was in Belfast, let's hope things continue to improve. Have a good Christmas mate.
They're sorting it out out nicely....slowly but surely, and produce some decent footballers in the process....maybe Derry's boy can be another in the pipeline.
Cheers lads, to be honest I'm just glad football has brought him out of himself and is building his confidence. He's way to young to know if he could be any good but I love seeing his genuine love for the game and having an interest in sport instead of stuck infront of a video game. I would be a very happy man if he even made it to play for Derry City as long as he is happy, don't get me wrong I'm not a pushy father type and tend to believe it's all about the kid wanting to do it for himself so no matter what he does in life I would back him 100%. Anyway lads happy christmas to you all as it time for this daddy to start building up the dreaded toys after santa has delivered!
If you encourage him and he fails, he'll love you all his life for your friendship anyway. if you discourage him, and he doesn't succeed at whatever he does, he'll blame you for holding him back every time something goes wrong. 'I could have played for Newcastle if it hadn't been for that daft old ....' If the lad ever gets the chance, you get right behind him, Derry. And, if it ever comes, please tell him there's some owld nutter called cuteybuns right behind him as well, mate. Good luck to him. Merry Xmas.
Encourage him while he is young and if he does make the grade and that means putting on that black and white striped shirt you have to give him 100% support. Okay except when he's playing against the red and whites naturally. Let's not get completely carried away here!!
