It's the day before the day before and all I can see is TV with programmes with Santa bloody Clause in the title, The Muppet's and ET. Tomorrow is worse, not a football match to be seen and right in the middle of it the bloody Queen comes on to tell us what a good year we have had and how its expensive for her at Christmas with one more mouth to feed round the dinner table. I will get hints about how I smell with lots of things to bath with that make me smell better. How old I am with thermal socks and gloves and I dread getting a liquidiser to help me digest food. Still, it will soon be over and I can get to the SoL to enjoy our glorious victory over the Toffees after listening to the Salvation Army Band outside and remembering some very special people before kick off. Its now 11 months since many of us migrated to not606 from our old home at the BBC and a traumatic 11 months its been on and off the pitch but somehow we have made it, made new friends and lost some old ones. Enjoy your turkey, tinsel, toys, tantrums and tenderness, they all make Christmas what it is, because I am a sad bastard I will still be popping on here tomorrow but for those that wont, see you in body or spirit on Boxing Day. The wife's birthday today for me. So a very busy couple of days. I'll be bowing to her every wish. Merry Xmas everyone.

Working Xmas eve and Xmas day (nights). No ****e TV for me. Work, in, open all my wonderful (yeah right) prezzies, bed, up, dinner, back to bed, work, bed (couple of hours kip) our lass will have the bacon sarnies on, beer (post match celebration), match, beer (pre match celebration), home, bed, week off. I am in my element tonight, 2 American Football games to sit down and watch that will take 6-8 hours, then another one tomorrow night (yes they play on xmas day woopee), wont be having a drink (if i have one at all) till boxing day night though, but may wait till New Years Eve for a tipple.
American football season, nah its nearly finished, Superbowl is in February, and i think this is the last regular round of season matches, its the playoffs next (either this week or next week is the last anyway)
