I do agree with you up to a point but if any ordinary person used those terms at work they would be sacked, simple as that.

Whenever the tide turns against saintly LFC, it's always someone else to blame. There the biggest bunch of whinging ****s in the whole of the UK.

I'm surprised they don't blame South Yorkshire police.

Also, why do they collect hub caps & car radios?

Never mind the car radios, they'll probably leave the cars standing on bricks.

    Aye, piles of them.

Do they steal the bricks that they leave the cars on?

So much stupidity in this comment.

What is wrong with hating the Sun btw? Most people that are reasonably educated and have half a conscience also find it a thoroughly despicable rag.

The way that Liverpool has conducted themselves, with this 'blind loyalty' to Suarez is moronic and doesn't give them that siege mentality Dalglish likely has been projecting (how he showed that video of ref mistakes against them etc.) it just makes them look enormous tits.

The slurs Collymoore has recieved are truly disgusting - but its unfair to generalise all Liverpool fans because of it.

What really baffles me is how Alan Hansen got in hot water for calling players 'coloured'. Don't see how that's offensive.

I was cringing when he said it, it just sounded wrong. I'm not sad enough to complain because I knew what he meant and he was actually being complimentary, but I think that people took offence because "coloured" implies that all non-white people are the same.

Regarding the Alan Hansen thing, it was in no way racist. There is no way to say anything when relating black people and not offend someone.

    The whole situation is fubar.

For Hansen to take so much stick for using a term which many in the UK over a certain age use, because it was considered the pc term not too long ago, is totally wrong. The context in which he said it was well intentioned and nobody can seriously suspect anything sinister in his intent. A gentle word in his ear that times have moved on and there is a new acceptable word to use is all that was needed surely. Also can't help wondering if somebody will be pilloried in twenty years time for calling somebody black, because pc terms appear to have a shelf life if history is anything to go by.

Collymore and others then overreact, but the violent abuse they are getting in return is again shameful. There are some Liverpool fans who are seriously letting their club down (if they are actually Liverpool fans!).

And to cap it all the Liverpool management and players take a totally inappropriate step by effectively endorsing Suarez's actions. I'm not a fan of the FA but I cannot envisage that they have reached their conclusion by merely taking Evra's word for this (even allowing for Suarez's own admission) so there must be some sort of evidence. Dalgleish and the Liverpool players by doing what they have done have effectively stated that they don't think his offence is punishable. What sort of message does that send out?

The T-shirt wearing was totally unacceptable. If they still dispute the charge and the verdict they should should challenge it through the proper channels.

If Suarez had won the case I can understand the team wanting to publicly back their own player, but to do it after he's been found guilty is in effect condoning making racist remarks.

What possible justification can Dalglish and Liverpool have in defending Suarez?

The only sane reason I can think of is that they don't want him( or their results )affected by the slagging off he's going to get for the rest of the season.

Man-up Liverpool.........Beckham got it when he was sent off and dashed our World cup dreams.........
