Wouldn't it be a good idea to look interested in such an offer for as long as possible before slamming the door, thereby leaving NP as little time as possible to find alternatives? Like Arsenal in the last window.

If somebody offered us £3.5m - £4m for Chester we would take it, maybe £4m -£5m for Stewart. Profits on these players (which the Allams funded) would be huge. The only problem then is the huge gaping hole they leave in the squad. I just hope we have the resolve to say no to some of the bigger clubs and push on.

we should simply be saying our star players are NOT FOR SALE !

in the summer its a different story. depending on if we're promoted or not, if silly money is offered and more importantly if the players want to go. as of right now, there is no way we should be selling in January when we're close to automatic promotion.

    end of.

You could always just ring Chesters Dad and find out.
Failing that you could accost him in the car park next time you see him.

    Stalking wierdo that you are.

I feel a bit mean to tickler as i started a thread about him ages ago as i couldnt stand him. Now as everyone seems aware how much bull he spouts i sort of like a laugh at his posts.
He used to be a bit of a Folan lover awhile ago. He once put up how good Folan was and to emphasise it he claimed he had spoken to John Terry about him, who told him he was the hardest opponent he had ever faced!!

Nothing wrong with Perry, he's always been alright in my books so I hardly see that as an insult.

Do you want to try again or shall we leave it at that?

    Infamy!

Brilliant that my row with Kang has reached such status but it was never the car park. That's a popular misconception,it was always in the pub itself.

Me and Kang are best mates now.

I have also had ding dongs with Erik and TIGERSHULL. but get on famously with both of those these days.
At one point I was beginning to think it was me but how could it be? <laugh>

There is hope for The Tickler. All he has to do is stop being a bell end and he'll be quids in with NFU.

    FACT.

    I stand corrected.

If anyone felt the need to start an end of year 'Greatest not606 moments of 2011' round up, I feel it should be up there.

    As for The Tickler...

That one was true, toughest mental challenge Terry has ever faced on the pitch, trying to offset the pity he felt due to Folan's lack of the ability against the urge to racially abuse him.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

I am glad it amused you, a lot of posters just couldn't see the humour in it.
