    Wi-Fi hotspots as well, yes. That's another big one which is resulting in a lot of people having the same IP addresses lately.

    Where i live, there's a bar with Wifi, and any house within half a mile could piggy back it... it has no password on it <doh>

    They may have the same IP address, doesn't make them the same person.

    I highly doubt homes for 'half a mile' could connect to it, unless the bar has decided to use an industrial amplified wifi transmitter.

    Ah I didn't read on before I saw people standing up for us falsely accused. Had to jump to my defence before the good name of Seaton got tarnished.

    Wey I live in a private house with wor lass now, but surely it's not the same IP as this one?
    Unless he lives in Wortley or has been given it before by Sky.
    Asides from that all this week I've been on the late shift at work (variation of 12-8, 2-8 & 3-8) & can't get on here there as all websites except the company's are blocked & not allowed to use our phones whilst working (lot of manual labour).
    Plus Vodafone signal is E, so it takes forever to load when on a break which means I'll normally play a game on my phone or just try and get annoyed at loading twitter.
    I have sat behind VPNs in the past but it's a paid service and unlikely to have had the same IP as the Mackem in question as it was always in the US I chose.
    Failing that the lad may be from South Hetton (or thereabouts) and he's been given the same IP as my parents at some point.

    Never saw Chappaz & AG sticking up for me amongst others, but aye I'm definitely not the same poster as that other bloke, haven't been on here for a few days until I saw GRB's tweet just there.
