Morning all - I got up early to take Little Miss W_Y to the station as she has a day freelancing at very well known TV shopping channel. Interesting night in The Nest...this is my favourite tattoo I thought Mark Cavendish was the only worthwhile winner last night..the rest was a rag-bag of a bunch. Absolute disgrace on how they were selected...and of course it has to be held in some community centre in Salford now to keep the BBC bleeding hearts happy.. Mild day already in Bandit Country at 11C...
I agree that Mark Cavendish was a deserved winner but I'm surprised that it was Darren Clarke who got the most votes of the golfers. Luke Donald is the world No.1 and Clarke had one good week. This is my last post before I fly to Gatwick this evening to go to my Mum in Watford for Christmas. Not sure I'll be able to get onto not606 during the time I'm over there but I will be at the games on Boxing Day and New Years Eve sitting next to H, so I'm sure I'll see others at those games. Merry Christmas to you all and COYH.
Safe journey Barry and enjoys the games merry xmas and happy new year to you and your family! See you at Notts if your still going
Morning all from a very wet Gloucester, just trying to get the house in order prior to the good lady arriving this evening Panic!!! Ref tat's my first one hurt like hell but it was back in 1981 and have had a total of 15 over a 20 year period, I would a love a half sleeve but my darling other half frowns upon me getting any more I have them all over my body from my arms, back, leg, cheeks. Have a cover up job done as well as I had my 1st wifes name on my arm (stupid boy). I know that they use different needles now and the pain is not so bad but I doubt very much if SL is having his sleeve done in one go. No Tattooist worth his salt would advise otherwise! IMO
If you have 15 Al what difference one more Always said to my sons its fine to have tattoos (as long as they can be covered by clothing) and dont have writing ! It looks naff in time when it fades!
well done to the police that concluded this http://www.expressandstar.com/news/2011/12/23/match-bans-in-place-for-300-soccer-thugs/?
Morning all It's nearly Christmas.... YIPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Hope NZ is ok... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-16312041
I know mate one more wouldn't hurt, but you that look you get from your wife as if to say go on I dare you and the repurcussions would be well let's just say. I like my life at the moment I have been trying to convince her for years, maybe one day! I know I would like some Japanese type ones done ie the Koi which changes into a dragon and a tiger. We shall have to wait and see
Football arrests in England and Wales fell approximately 9% from 2009/10 to 2010/11. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-16311308 This coincides, and I'm not making this up, with a drop of approximately 9% in L*t*n's average attendance between 2009/10 and 2010/11. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/attendance/_/league/eng.5/year/2009/english-conference?cc=5739 http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/attendance/_/league/eng.5/year/2010/english-conference?cc=5739
hmmm! interesting stats there NNW! So we can surmise that Lutons fall from grace equates to a reduction of hooliganism!
A reduction in football hooliganism. It's worth pointing out that anything that happens at an EDL rally is not classified as football crime.
Afternoon all Grey and very wet here so it could be an afternoon of ironing and perhaps a Christmas film. Is it time for Jimmy Stewart yet?
Fairly predictable tone of interview from Malky in the Wobby, but there are some interesting points. He's basically says that however it ended he's happy with what he did as a player and manager at Watford. While he accepts that he'll probably get dogs abuse on Monday (slight exaggeration on my part), he asks that in time he is judged on how the team played while he was manager, regardless of how he left. While I'm not likely to forgive him, unlike Rodgers he can to some extent justify saying that "Watford will always be a club close to my heart", even if the feeling isn't reciprocal. It's easy to forget just how highly we regarded him as a player. http://www.bsad.org/colinwho/mackay.html On Don Cowie, he insists that if he were still Watford manager now, Don Cowie would not be a Watford player, and that his agent touted him around to every Championship club. Reading between the lines I guess he's saying that Cowie left Watford for the money, and ended up at Cardiff because Malky knew what he could do and was willing to offer wages that other clubs might have seen as over the odds. I'm inclined to believe him there to be honest, given that Cowie publicly complained about pay to From The Rookery End of all people.
Horrible wet afternoon in Bandit Country - just got to clean the oven and then I am allowed out to play....my first Xmas drink will commence about 16.30!
Morning, afternoon and evening all! I hope NZ is okay! I can't believe it's started all over again. Bit of a day today, and tonight i was supposed to be going to my ma in law for dinner, but she's not well, so we're still going over there, but i have to cook! lol...great!! So, see you all later, have a great night, and Norway, save one of those for me! PS: see you at the game Barry!
NNW looks like our boxing day guests have some problems to resolve! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ecord-low-police-forced-action-30-games.html?
