In the meantime every sensationalist journo or commentator with an axe to grind labels Suarez racist (despite the fact that the FA's ruling apparently did not) and condemns the club for supporting him.

Yep, and we have to endure at least a month of being accused of being in league with a baby-raping, racist, parent-killing bastard by not turning on Luis like a bunch of xenophobic ****s and telling him to F-off back to whereever the English media and the FA want him to go...

Honestly, I reckon *****s get better press coverage...<doh>

The club and KK need to back down somewhat they are not helping anyone not least Suarez. It is costing Liverpool much 'capital' by their stance.

Given that both the FA committee and Patrice Evra have stated, in the opening of the judgement, that they do not believe that Luis Suarez is a Racist, an 8 match ban is morally and ethically indefensible. Until they back the hell down, and come to a reasonable punishment, I see no reason for Kenny, Luis, the club or the fans to back down. To do so would be to accept an injustice.

That is not going to happen. Not now, and not later...

Compare for a moment, the maximum sentence for Mr John Terry, facing a CPS charge of racism. £2500 fine. end of case.

FA stance for punishing a non-racist reasonable? I do not think so...

John Terry is a man of little moral fibre or integrity. Ask Wayne Bridge. You do not sleep with a teammates' lady, even if she's putting it on a plate for you. You do not park in a disabled space just because the fine is chicken feed to you. And in the immediate aftermath of a massive international terrorist attack, you do not get drunk and take the piss out of nationals of the country where it took place...
