When will we be safe?

Discussion in 'Portsmouth' started by devonFRATTONiser, Feb 24, 2011.

When will Pompey be MATHEMATICALLY safe from Relegation?

  1. Never - will be relegated

  2. After the last game! (8/5)

  3. After 30/4

  4. After 25/4

  5. After 23/4

  6. After 16/4

  7. 12/4 or earlier

9 points from 3 games gives us good cause for merriment and confidence. However, we cannot yet take Championship survival for granted. We still have some big six-pointers coming up. Win them and we can breathe easy. Lose them and we're right back in it.

So, with Pompey's remaining fixture list to peruse,

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/fixtures/default.stm

when do you think we will be mathematically safe from the drop?

I think we will be mathmatically safe by the end of this game -

I voted 23/4, but I put us down to lose at Ipswich when I did the predictor.

Hopefully those of you who said 12/4 or earlier will be proved right<bubbly>

I have a feeling Pompey will maintain a position in the top half this season. How's De Laet doing at Fratton Park? He's only made around 8 appearances this season, according to the Pompey official website.

The post above is ridiculous! That member is a moron!
Pompey are not going up this season and they are not going down.

I fully expect them to finish in a strong top half place.

I look forward to some good games next year, and hopefully we don't lose 4-1, again...

All the best Pompey fans :)

I had us coming 4th on the predictor, but i only did our scores, so other teams still had 10/12 games in hand.

The next four games, with 3 very winable home games against Scunny, Sheff Utd, Boro and a good chance of an away draw at Bristol City. I think we should hit the safety tally (52?) by 17:00 12/03

There was a porn post below yours, but it was deleted. I tried reporting it but it wouldn't let me report.

Meowth had one of those on a thread of his last week. Seems Maltese Mick and Cypruspussy have a handle on it though and delete them as soon as they appear. They should be able to track who is doing it and sort them out appropriately<ok>

Hmm. That is not so good. He probably has a wandering IP address on which multiple ID's can be set up, but also probably is operating off just one URL. Once the Administrators find what this is, which they can do of course off any of the IP's they could link a search for the specific URL and ban the ID's as articles/comments appear. If all new users had a period of pre-moderation like BBC 606 this would enable the owners to keep this person off the site. But that is their choice I guess. Best just to ignore him.
