I was very worried that weâd be playing against a team in its first game with their new manager, and so guaranteed to suffer the usual draw or even loss that comes with our continued inability to score goals, coupled with the new manager syndrome teams always seem to benefit from. However, it seems like Kean will be in charge so we should really be pummeling this no hopers. An early goal and continued attack should, Iâd hope put these to the sword. I wonder will we see a few changes? Iâd like Bellamy to start. Spearing should be back in in a 3 man midfield with Adam and Henderson with Suarez, Bellamy andâ¦â¦â¦â¦**** it, Carrol, up front. I hope the lads can keep winning. I was worried that maybe the negative attention surrounding the club could impact our football and it seemed to against Wigan. A resounding win and Suarez hattrick would lighten the mood slightly.
I honestly believe this is our game to smash a team this season. We have had our kick up the backside against Wigan, the fans will be merry with xmas cheer so less tension in the atmosphere and Backburn fans will be more interested in chanting about Kean and the Venkys.
Samba and Dann aren't exactly the most rapid CB's so I'd suggest taking Maxi, Bellers and Luis as the top 3, Henderson, Shelvey and Adam in midfield, and the back unchanged...

i reckon this game will be exactly the same as I thouht all other games were going to be this season (against mid to low level opponents) so 3-0 to us, finally scoring a few
It pains me to say it but the whole Suarez saga and the goings on down in B'burn means that this game could end up being anything you think... Liverpool should win this but i have a bad feeling about this one... Hope im wrong but it may well be a slog of a game to create anything and a struggle to get the first goal... I fwe score first, then i can see us getting another... But if we only scoe with 20-15 mins left we wont know what to do and i can see them knicking one back... Our season is about to take a big turn over the next 3-5 games and this is one that ill determine very much where we will finish... I am very fretful that our season will implode after the Suarez incident... I hope im very much wrong...
