It was a fifteen minute interview, the author had nothing to say really apart from Bernie is very 'small' and thats why he wants to be 'big' in F1
It wasn't covered at all. The author said Bernie gave him permission to write whatever he wanted, and also said he had no interest in F1 and had never watched a race.
No idea. I don't think I will be rushing out to buy the book after hearing the interview on the radio, it was pretty telling that nothing controversial was brought up.
it just makes me wonder as Maurice Hamilton (A motorsports journalist) did a book that had some in depth parts about the whole 2007 matter but never digged up that. And yet someone with apparently no interest stick that in. I would like to hear Hamilton, Alonso and Ron Dennis's view on this. Otherwise I dont belive it
I'm sure the papers will read it and bring anything dodgy out by Friday. Assuming it has anything dodgy in it.
Alonso has reponded: "I ignore what is said in other countries" Asked about the Bower accusations specifically, he added: “I don’t know — everybody is getting on with their own jobs.”
Not read it or heard the interview, but as of now.........seems the allegations about Alonso were just a sales pitch. Usual bolloxs you get before a book launch, controversial claims to help sell copies ? If it was that damning you would expect Alonso to take legal action ? I won't bother buying it.
