The text of the article off the Boro OWS:

    Season’s High For Tigers Visit

WITH a huge away following expected and the biggest home crowd of the season already guaranteed, Boro fans are being asked to rise to the challenge and back their team for the Boxing Day visit of Hull City.

The club are confident fans will get behind Tony Mowbray's men and ticket sales have already surpassed this season's previous biggest home crowd of 18,457 for the visit of West Ham, with a 20,000-plus attendance on the cards.

Boro old boy Nick Barmby's in-form Tigers have already sold 2,000 tickets and that figure is predicted to rise to more than twice the previous high of 1,292 set by Blackpool.

Both teams have 100% records so far in December, so something has to give as third play fourth for the second successive game after Boro saw off another form side in Cardiff City last weekend.

Head of Supporter Services Anthony Emmerson said: "There's always a good crowd for our holiday fixtures but with Boro doing so well there's a real buzz about the club this year.

paul hudson says the weather for boxing day wont be that bad so No snow issues unlike last season.

its gonna be a fine boxing day especially on the pitch. UTT & Barmby Army.

interesting that for the 2nd week running its 3rd v. 4th so heres to the same result(2-3) on boxing day <cheers>

    Spot the mistake:

The budget has been slashed on Tyneside in recent seasons, but the arrival of the Middlesbrough messiah, Tony Mowbray, has seen the team climb to the giddy heights of third. They overcame one play-off rival in Cardiff last week and now face another in Hull - and another victory could see them climb into the automatic places by the turn of the year. Caretaker boss Nicky Barmby has done his job prospects no harm having won four games in a row and a win at the Riverside would see them leapfrog Boro in the table.

Not unless West Ham lose they wont. (Well technically they can for 2 hours as West Hams game kicks off late @ 5.20pm Live on sky). That i assume is what the peace should have said ? ;)
