Sorry Saints, forgot to congratulate you on eventually getting it right. It was of course Wycombe Wanderers.

Which team was represented in the 1-1 draw against Arsenal in the FA Cup recently, by 2 of its ex players and which team was represented in the 1-0 defeat by Man Utd in the FA Cup recently, by 2 of its ex players?

Blackpool beat Spurs recently. One player came on as a sub and made a surging run to set up the winning goal. From which team was he signed?

    Could take a while.

Leyton Orient drew with Arsenal. Crawley lost to Man Utd.

Don't know the two players as I don't really know the squads.

Was the surging run from Puncheon against Spurs. If so it was Saints.

The surging run was from Matt Phillips who was signed from, wait for it..............................Wycombe Wanderers.

Two of the players for Orient (Revell and McLeish) used to play for, wait for it...................Wycombe Wanderers.

Two of the players for Crawley (Torres and Bullman) used to play for, wait for it...................Wycombe Wanderers.

Mike Williamson (6) Newcastle, Roger Johnson (5) Birmingham, Nathan Tyson (11) Notts Forest all came from Wycombe Wanderers.

No wonder we are in L2 now. All our best players move on.

There was a cover-up, of course, and you'll find no trace of this game in the official records. <ok>

Sorry to piss on your comfort blanket but I think you'll find that record was replaced with one of 11 seconds by someone else, in October of last season. I won't say who it was though............
