Don't normally do this, but in this case...

    "facetious"

    Good try though, Frenchie.

Has anyone read the BBC report on this?

I haven't read through the 4 pages on here to check if it's been mentioned but here are a few quotes from it:

Do we stand a better chance than Leicester? Our league position suggests we could be in the prem next year whereas there's doesn't.
I think our only chance of getting him is if there are no prem clubs interested, even if someone like Wigan who might get relegated came in, he'd have confidence in himself to grab goals and get another move even if he got relegated. He's already proven at this level he can get goals for a club at the bottom of the table.

He'll be cheaper than Billy Sharp, Bristol don't want him to walk out for free in 6 months. This makes it more likely that we'll sign him IMO, but i feel he's Premiership bound. For teams near the bottom he's a cheap option that they might think is worth a punt.

That's one way of looking at it, he might think that we are MAYBE premiership bound, if he spends 6 months in the prem now and scores goals but get's relegated he can get signed by another premiership team in the summer. No ****er knows except Nicky Maynard (and French Tickler apparently ;))

Maynard will probably go to DQPR, as he's definitely looking for a PL move and they have a decent chance of staying up this season.

The Mirror are normally quite accurate with stories about us, but not always, they've posted a fair few wild assumptions in the past.

Tickler, you don't need to make a twat of yourself in every post, knock it back to half of them, I'm getting bored of the complaints.

Right, I think I've covered everything on this thread now, moving on...

Why would anyone feel the need to actually complain about Tickler?

He genuinely has a passion for the club, he may well get a little over enthusiastic at times, but his posts are well worth the read!

Some posters on here really do get a raw deal just because they don’t conform to the masses!

    I’m with the Tickler!!

It's going to be an interesting January for sure, one for thing's for certain it's not long now to wait.

    Time will tell.

Yes what with most of Leicesters players wanting out because they don't want to play for boring NP and no one will go there because they don't want to play under strict boring tactics. It will all boil down to whether they would rather play under NP or NB, it definitely is going to be an interesting January!

    Utter tosh!

I for one think that most players would want to play under NB.

I think the phone is ringing in your kettle and pot dept. as for [insert insult], think you need to look in the mirror!

If only NP could be more interesting like January is going to be.

Why is his post utter tosh? He's absolutely right. If both clubs offer the same money and same contract the decision comes down to one thing, who do they want to play for?

He never said he thought players wouldn't want to play for Barmby. Wind your neck in!

It's not so much what he posts, it more how much he posts, there's some threads where he individually responds to each comment.

I think he sometimes confuses not606 with his email inbox. <laugh>

When City bought Cameron didn,t Man U put a high % sell on clause in the contract? I think it was near on 50% of the price but I'm not certain. So even if they sold him City wouldn't get what he was worth.

All the Man United lads have 15% sell-on clause and with Simpson there's a 25% sell-on for Arsenal.

Meh. Stewart isn't going to want to pull your whole team along through the season. Anyway, you're after Albert Adomah. Who isn't as good. And will cost you a lot more. But that's ok, living next to the Walkers stadium, I can feel the heat coming from the hole in your chairman's pocket.
