Dont get to many away matches so look for alternative games. Last week was Windsor vs Raynes Park Vale. Just the measly 10 -0!! and for £6!! Excellent value and great entertainment!
So what do you chaps do??

I don't get to many matches home or away, so get my fix with the occasional Highland League game involving my nearest team, Deveronvale. The standard can be quite high - unless lower teams such as Fort William are involved - and entrance is also £6 (£7 if you want to sit) which is great value for money.

Except deep into winter when standing in the sleet with a wind blowing off the Moray Firth, straight from the Arctic, is absolutely no fun at all. :(

Nice one Bolton. Was in Inverness recently and the Highland league is now my homepage. Nairn County is my team of choice!

I used to have nothing. But recently i discovered the local team Godmanchester Rovers FC who are in the Rymans Football League Division 1 and are currently sitting 5th but with games in hand on the teams above them and are looking very strong for promotion. The game i went to a week ago they won 5-3 and it was great!!

Located where I am I don't manage to get to many Watford matches live. However a group of people in my village have season tickets for F.C. Cologne in the German Bundesliga and so I often go there with them. Great atmosphere, standing areas at both ends, lots of beer flowing, and very little in terms of smoking bans plus 50,000 average crowds, bit like the old days in England. F.C. Cologne are not very good and would probably not survive in the premiership. When I lived in Watford I used to watch St. Albans City when the Horns were away. On other days I simply work in the garden.
