1)If it were going to impact his training and performance the club would not allow it.
    2) Im sure he is a big boy now and it wont hurt that much
3)He is a professional and would not do anything to compromise himself.

A full sleeve job isnt a small bit of work, generally stays sore fore a few days , you have to keep them moist to reduce the scabbing over ie lots of E45 cream To have an arm done then maybe have a ball a centre forwards elbow hit it , will ermmm hurt to say the least!
I hope he heals quick ,the other thing to remember is it makes sleeping harder for at least a couple of nights , coz you dont know wear to put your arm !!
All I was suggesting that perhaps now wasnt fantastic timing !

Norway is right, a big Tat can get very sore. One of Little Miss W_Y mates was over last night and he had just had some more work done on his full sleeve and it was covered in cream and quite sore. There again, if he is on Twatter, it must be OK!

I would be amazed if he would do it if it affected him adversely at all. I know it will hurt, but its only bruising isnt it. The worst of it heals with in a day or two apparently.

There is no way it can be done in one sitting, otherwise he would be there all day and night and that would sting to say the least<yikes>

A full sleeve will be at least 2 sittings of about 2 hrs each at the very least First one will be the outlines or black work this is the most painful ! I have 5 tattoos 2 on each shoulder and a back piece ! Mrs N has a rather good backpiece as well!

Thats why I`m quite surprised at his timing , I would not like to have to dive on the ground after recently having done what Scotts having done!

Still get a few million for him and can now use super Brett Pitman, should have forced him out ages ago, everyone knew he wasn't going to sign a new contract

He said it's in progress. He's not having a full sleeve done before Boxing Day! Let's calm down. As has been said, the club wouldn't allow it if they thought it would affect him.

    Feeling your pain, sorry Red.

he won't be with them for the return match ;)

Surprised he didn't go in the summer, if around £6m was on the table. It's difficult to see him going for that much now.

I`m assuming you have virginal skin Dan (every tattooists dream)! Not to mention very wise! A full sleeve will be in at least 2 or 3 sittings , the first one will hurt the most as its the blacking or outlining , dont ask me why ,but personal experience tells me so! the coulouring in isnt so bad! the nature of a full sleeve , especially on a white man is going to put down a lot of black , I dont what he is getting done but celtic and Maori styling seems to be in vogue!
