That is some collapse by Sussex. Although we now have to go out and bat in these conditions which can surely only end badly.

The good thing is that the conditions don't matter for our batters. Nor the standard of bowlers (I still maintain this is a very poor Sussex attack).

Our batters will always find a way to F-it up.

I seem that SCurran is finally having his first bowl of the season for Surrey. That's suggests he'll be fit enough to bowl in the second half of the Blast, which is a big boost for them. Quite happy that we've already played them twice.

If our theory was to just try and survive those 10 overs, in the hope that conditions would improve over lunch, then I can understand that. But it surely should have seen someone like Organ being promoted, almost like a lunch-watchman.

I wouldn't be shocked if we lose this today.

After seeing how hanging in there didn't work at all for those before him, I don't know why Prest spent his whole innings doing the same thing. The only way to score runs is to have a swing and hope.

Good thing that we picked Neal in this game, rather than an extra seamer or an extra batter.

Has there been any CC game this season where we've picked the correct XI?

TBF the pitch was offering quite a lot of turn yesterday. It's just an awful pitch full stop.
