What you mean like the clubs did before they decided nobody else should be able to.
I'm saying have a cap for all clubs, but I'm also fully aware none of them really want a sporting contest, so it won't ever happen.
I've even acknowledged that Newcastle don't either btw, but for whatever reason big 6 fans don't seem emotionally capable of accepting they're the lance Armstrongs of the PL.
Like Liverpool did under the Littlewoods if my memory is correct.
The clubs that have spent the most money since records began have had the most success, so hey let's make rules that stop other clubs spending anywhere close to as much money every single year, again, and again, and again. Let's take the piss and call it financial fair play. If people start figuring it out let's make it worse, redress it, and call it some **** like squad cost ratio.
Lets have a vote to stop other clubs getting sponsorships as high as the ones we've got too while we're on.
Lets then celebrate like we're winning a fair fight.

The way you lot go on its as if you have not been allowed to spend any cash since the takeover. Reality check. You have spent over £750m. The problem is most of thats been on utter dross. The problem is not what you have been allowed to spend its that your recruitment team is absolutely horrendous. Woltemade and Wissa cost more than the entire Sunderland team that beat you in March. And there in lies your problems

You're fixated on your own club and one seasons league positions , but longer term we're always going to have a financial advantage that will soon enough restore the order and I don't agree with it... I liked football before all this crap. Every fanbase should have the hope that they can have a go if the club wants to.
Sunderland fans will hang out the arse of any set of rules that stop us spending even more, but you're going to encounter the issue yourselves at some point, and then you'll say you don't agree with them then.. You'll probably deny that now and lie, but you will.
You can have all the "financial advantage" you want. It means absolutely zilch when you continually spend it on awful footballers. Meanwhile we will just happily go along with one of the best recruitment teams in the country making us better every single window bar none. You lot can continue going backwards at an alarming rate
When you get the recruitment side of things right everything else falls into place. There is a reason you dont hear Brighton fans kicking off about "the rules"

Our recruitment team has taken us for League 1 to Europe in less than 5 years having spent less than £200m to do it
Only an absolute gimp would describe that as anything other than incredible
