There's only 2 ways we can keep hold of Demba Ba.

    I cant see nobody coming in for Demba Ba in January, and I cant see them coming in without a figure of £20mil or around that mark. So I can only see 2 ways in which we can keep him.

    1) Mike Ash and Llambiarse play hard ball to the point that they demand a similar fee that they got for Andy Carroll and whoever's involved tell's them to stop being stupid and piss off.

    or

    2) He gets crocked sometime between now and 31st Jan in the ACoN. Keeping him by default.

    Unless the above happens. I am more than prepared for Demba Ba to be playing for another football club after January. Sad, but blatantly true.

    I wouldn't go as far to say we are a 'selling club' but what is obvious and apparent is that the footballing world know full well that every Newcastle player has a price and our transfer policy actually invites teams to come in for our better players.

    So as much as a Centre Back is our obvious No.1 target this January. A replacement for Ba is just as important.

    I honestly think we will keep Ba for a while. It's the likes of Krul, Colo, Tiote and Cabaye I think are more likely to leave.

    He can't get insurance, none of the big clubs will take that risk, especially not if a fee is involved.

    You all have jumped on the assumption that selling Ba for £20mil would be a bad thing and ULTRA Negative.

    Id sell him for £20mil plus. Everyday of the week.

    Hes a good player in form, hes not a great player.

    People call me negative. :D

    I'm sorry, but he is an amazing player! He has absolutely everything and scores goals everywhere he goes and is one of the best finishers I have ever seen.

    Nah. He's wasted some of the best chances laid onto him this season. He's done well so far this season. Great players worth £20mil plus do it season in, season out. Just look at Carroll. Had a good 2010. Sold him. 2011 has been abysmal.
