Pompey are among a number of clubs showing interest in 22 year old, 6' 2" tall Glasgow Rangers centre half Leon King, who spent last season on loan to Ayr United, playing 27 matches, scoring 2 goals, and winning player of the year.
He has made 27 appearances for Rangers, but is out of contract this Summer, and is wanted by Ayr Utd, Coventry, Burnley, Wolves, Middlesbrough and West Brom as well.

Pompey, Cardiff and Lincoln City are all interested in signing 24 year old, 6' 3" Nigerian centre half Ibrahim Buhari from Swedish club Elfsborg. He is a Nigerian U23 international who has apparently impressed in 56 matches playing in Sweden. He is possibly available for a 'bargain fee' as in last year of his contract.

Apparently, Pompey are in advanced talks to sign 22 year old defensive midfielder Gibson Yah, from Dutch club FC Volendam on a free transfer at the end of his contract. He was born in the Netherlands, and is of Nigerian descent. Formerly in the renowned Ajax academy, he stands 6' 4" tall.
