I'm sorry but how is saying that coloured players are amongst the best in the Premiership offensive?

Alan Hansen was trying to be positive when talking about the efforts that have been made to cut out racism and the progress that has been achieved and he gets slated for it!!!!

Honestly, some people need to get a ****ing life.

 

Because saying 'coloured' is very naughty these days.

If they want to be technical about it we shouldn't call people black either because they are actually dark brown

There are Black (in terms of african descent), Asian and South American (non white) ...

 

The whole thing is ridiculous. I can't believe some people actually complained when he was trying to be positive and show support for efforts to kick out racism.

Oh, and of course, there is Wes Brown ... who is his own colour (a nice shade of Wes Brown)

this is getting ridiculous, I'm a life long anti-racist, and this now is not about racial hatred, abuse, or discrimination, but merely what is a P.C. issue, which is completely deflecting from what the underpinning issues are, and need to be addressed.

I watched this last night and didn't flinch when he said coloured, I just thought it odd. He probably thought it was the correct thing to say and now he will get slated. I actually feel a little bit sorry for the scouse ****.

 

Yawn. Clearly someone who looks take offence at any given opportunity. No-one here has said anything derogatory towards black people or people from Sierra Leone.

 

I like the fact Berb is sticking up for an ex Liverpool player...
