    This man is simply a goal machine, in my opinion he is right up there with the best of the Toon strikers.

    think its too early to say but its beginning to look that way. Martins had a good start also remember but it didn't pay off as well as it could have!!!

    My question is - do you think you'll be able to keep hold of him if one of the big clubs come knocking?

    Not saying we're one of the big 4 anymore but I'd love him at Liverpool, swap for Carroll? <whistle>

    I don't think that will happen. His age being one reason and his "dodgy" knees being another. We have taken the gamble and hes our so **** off :wink:

    True - but he's not that old is he? I thought he was about 26/27 might be wrong though. He looks like he'll be peaking in the next couple of seasons. Just in time for us to take him off your hands!!

    I don't think he will leave in the next year. Due to his knee nobody will pay big money for him and nobody will reach the value that he is worth to us.

    Yep, we've missed Jose much more than Carroll. I still can't believe Arsenal went for Santos rather than Enrique.

    I'm very surprised that none of the other top teams went for him. Even Utd for a long term replacement for Evra, who looks past his best now. City bought Clichy, who's nowhere near as good as Jose. Also like you say, Arsenal went for Santos, which is crazy.

    Jose is probably the best LB in the EPL.

    Anyway, sorry for going off topic!
