Yeah Eastbourne isn’t good. Decent ground if you have a reason to go there ever.

St Leonard’s which is walkable from Hastings is even nicer.

Whether it's true or not (pending verification) I'm not really understanding why someone would do that inside. Yes he killed a man and he lied about it, but isn't that the basis of all murders.

Was it even deemed a white hate crime, I assume not, the only prejudice (subjective) came from the cops. He made a false claim it was due to a racial incident, which at best would be 6 montths inside, without the murder.

I think the context of what happened needs to be kept in proportion, there are far worse prisoners inside. Just my opinion of course and feel free to disagree.

Trying to think where I'm coming from here with my above post. I think I'm saying it's actually racist in attacking the prisoner in such a way, if the same is not metered out to other murderers and I don't want a bloody race war with the Sikhs over this, their religion is not to blame, although people can debate the carrying of their religious symbol.

There's not that much out there at the moment about the alleged attack but it's gaining momentum. Might just be Chinese whispers at this point.

Dunno whether it was race or religion orientated. Might have played its part or maybe not. Its a common assault inside because it's easy to do. He will be a high profile almost celebrity prisoner in there and there are plenty of nutcase's that want to make their mark. He's stabbed an unarmed teenager with no remorse and it seems his family helped the cover up. Throw in the fact that the police instantly stood by his word and it's a pretty big target on his back.

Its gonna be a long sentence for this kid and it won't be easy.

If you are in a prison that is all white offenders, I might be able to believe this, but I imagine our prisons to be very multi racial these days, I suppose what I'm saying is I can't see some big **** off black guy wanting to do anymore than get cosy in the shower with him, the white guys are busy wiping his arse.

To put it clearer what I'm trying to say, if you are a nazi white supremacist, expect a good kicking. Even the time I spent inside many decades ago I was in with Spurly and his Turkish cousin who were drug smuggling. I remember getting a word to the wise not to encourage the other white guy into the cell, because they didn't like him lol.

I'm as annoyed as anyone what happened to Nowak, but I see his perpetrator on a level as any other murderer. You could argue that Nowak was just a kid, but a kid I would deem as the little girl that was playing in the street (Boston, Lincolnshire), and some weirdo with a knife took her life, that's the sort of guy I would be going after.

Although having said that it would depend how many @Sucky 's would be on the same wing, in that situation I can see lots of throat chops being dished out.
