    Would rather have Ben Arfa at the moment, but for some reason Pardew never seems to want to play him!

    Next game i'd rather see Ben Arfa in the Ben Arfa role and Vuckic alongside Cabaye based on tonights performance

    Vuckic is definitely an attacking midfielder. He struggled defensively today.

    No question, Ben Arfa in the Ben Arfa role! Hatem looked bright immediately upon coming on, displayed his pace and trickery, had a couple good lay-offs to Obertan and Ba for the goal. But if they want a CAM role to work for him, they need to stop hoofing the ball up blindly, and play it through the midfield and wings -- especially when teams put a lot of players behind the ball.

    the difference between haris and ben arfa is that haris doesnt lose possesion half as much as ben arfa. when we're chasing the game he tries too hard to beat half a dozen people and it almost cost us a couple of time last night.

    You're right there, Ben arfa is a bit of a one man show sometimes, tries too hard and forgets he's a team player.

    We just need to get Cabaye and Tiote together, drop Perch for Williamson or Kadar and ffs play Ben Arfa for 90 minutes a few times and we'll be fine.
