    Be realistic.

The bloke had virtually no time to get a squad together after Briatore and co refused him any funds to work with. He's getting what he can out of a poor squad that shouldn't be any higher than it is on paper.

More importantly, the potential replacements aren't very appealing.

If we get rid of Colin now we can kiss the prem goodbye!

    Would be absolute madness!

We had a rubbish start thanks to Eccles an Co.

Keep the faith and build on what we have.

He can't even pick the right team or basic taticts when approaching a game, why is he not starting Taarabt and DJ, drop Mackie and don't play one up front.

    The clocks ticking for warnock.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing. He got it wrong today but I can understand why he picked the team he did.

Totally agree Watford. I'm a bit stunned tbf. Not with how the team is, where we are in the table or anything like that, but just with peoples expectations. We are small end of. I'd like to think that some time in the future we won't be but we are now. 15-20 years of neglect and indifference to catch up on. While we've stood still in terms of things like our ground and gone backwards in youth development the rest of the football world has gone forward without us. We're in a league where our idiot neighbours spend £50m on a striker who couldn't hit a shag in a whorehouse. How do we compete with that? In the short term we can't. We have to just try and build to a bigger tomorrow and keep the faith. It was always gonna be a case of hang on in there for a season or two and try and kick on from there.

We keep making excuses for NW. He's had half a season to gel the squad. Sure he didn't have much time to buy good players, but who did Swansea and Norwich buy over the summer?? They are punching well above their weight and have been since the start. That to me is down to the manager.

Worrying thing is we seem to be getting worse and the two biggest signings in the summer, ie Barton and W-P, have been very disappointing performers. I feel embarrassed watching Barton on £80k a week play so badly.

True 12th man just look at Swansea and norwich would u say there teams are better than ours?? No I wouldn't there team seem very hard to beat and well organised, I don't like to have a pop a NW for what he done getting us up but can he really cut it in the prem? Not so sure. Let him build the team in jan then see where we go

Our players are playing like they don't know each other. It's incredible. Think NW does not know our best system.

NW deserves all the praise in the World for how he turned us around & got us promoted. That said his current team selections/tactics aren't doing him or the team any favours & some criticism is deserved. There is the possibility that he is a top level Championship manager but not quite good enough for the Prem - time will tell.

got to give till end of season i'm sure things will turn round, 12thman swans & canaries had longer to get players in & our goons wouldn't part with any money.

It's funny that sme are stating that maybe it's time for NW to go, but is there another manager that could have got us to where we are now, within the time limit and resources he has had, with the hassle and aggrivation and interference of Flav, Bernie and Paladini?

NW needs time to get his premier team together - he always said that when he took ver, he would need one to get us up, and one to make us competitive in the premier league. He hasn't finished building that team yet.

If he's a top championship manager, then unless something happens quickly, we'll be ok next season! Why is Tarbs not playing? Why is Bothroyd playing? Always expected us to struggle in the prem but thought we'd perform better than this! It's not all down to lack of transfers in summer. Look at Swansea and Norwich who've adapted to the premiership game far better than we have! As I've said before, we're relying on 3 teams to be worse than us. Right now only Blackburn is probably one of those teams!

No but he should have the balls to drop Joey and SWP when they are not playing well.

Why does Barton have to take every fecking corner and free kick I'm sure the Traore/Faurlin could put a nice corner or free kick in from time to time, I think TF will give Warnock till March and see where we lie in the table before making the call on his job, beause if we look like we are going to go down I think he will get rid as Prem survival is more important now the money has been invested.

I totally agree with Telford and Watford on this. Depsite a shoddy performance last night, NW and TF still remain the best things we've got going for us IMO. He got it wrong yesterday, but talk of getting rid of Neil is well wide of the mark as far as I'm concerned.

Agree, IMO Barton floats his crosses and corners, he does not whip them in. It's too easy to defend, tell him to back off for a while and let others try.
