I would imagine that when season tickets are floated on the website for this season, the vast majority of purchases will be junior memberships who will hopefully be sitting in 50 years time saying 'well that's it, I've done my bit, here's to our future Black & Amber army'...A bit like a few now, including myself are swaying towards.

I said several weeks before the match that I hoped we'd go up for the youngsters supporting our Club and so it was to be and I'm over the moon for them all

I won't apply for a membership because (1) It wouldn't be value coming for 6 or 7 matches. (2) It would be wholly unfair to deprive a local of going to every game. (3) I'm not a fan of the Prem, although I enjoyed the away aspects when we've been there but tickets will be scarce for such events now as we have a bigger away support and (4) I'm not fit enough or able enough or young enough anymore to put my body through 17hr on the Road 'home games'....

Up Our Tigers and Up our future hardcore fans...
You are very welcome to use my seat in the East stand, I only get to about 3 games a season, I’m hoping that will increase when my son goes off to uni next year, but in the short term. Happy to help you out, drop me a DM when the fixture list is released

That's a lovely thing to say SW3 and I'm extremely humbled that you've put that out there.I dare say,I might consider taking you up on an odd one but I'd pay you the going rate and wouldn't have it any other way.

What a lovely gesture,you're a gent :emoticon-0148-yes: :emoticon-0148-yes: :emoticon-0148-yes:

Speaking to a Boro fan afterwards, and he said lots of kids with their parents attend their matches. Whatever Acun is he's not daft enough to lose this, and the next, generation of fans. :emoticon-0138-think

It's our time.

Had some older type Smogs in our hotel.

Shared a few good encounters over the years.

Kids important yes. So is sticking with the club no matter what.

Get that embedded first..

The club needs to start a proper buy back system for when season ticket holders can't use their seats, and/or an associate membership scheme for out of towners. I'm going to try to get a couple of memberships when they are back on sale, but quite happy to sell back or even give back to the club when I can't come, which like SW3 Chelsea Tiger will be for all but three or four games. But I want to do it to enable away game purchase. Otherwise I suspect I won't be able to go to any away games.

We went as a family. Me, wife and stepson drove down and met up with my son at Wembley park. Couldn't get seats together but we were within close proximity. It ended up with wife and stepson together and me and my lad together. They have been to 3 play off finals and the FA cup. My son got very emotional and couldn't believe he had seen us win 3 play off finals. Lovely to share that moment with him. The celebrations at the end were the best yet. What a great day. Caravan of love always makes me emotional.

Looking back I'm pleased I prevented my lad from becoming a Leicester City supporter, pleased I converted my stepson from Arsenal, Thierry Henry era. Geovanni helped with that one . Thanks Geo :emoticon-0148-yes:. My wifes first game was the last game of the season away at Bradford City. Not even sure of the year. She was hooked from the off.

We have had some great times and not so good together but I am pleased to report we are part of

THE TIGER NATION.

Always said that Caravan of Love has a lot of potential as a club anthem. People say is is slow and dreary, but it doesn't have to be. I've heard it sung at various gigs by Hull people and it is very emotive when sang with passion and meaning. It was sang at my youngest daughters wedding and it was an incredible moment, with my very youngest granddaughter leading the singing in the middle dressed in her full Hull City kit. She was five then, she's nearly 11 now and was at Wembley with her father and I have a photograph of them both embracing at the final whistle and its beautiful.
As for the atmosphere at Wembley. The Boro lot were impressive and loud, especially in the first half and at the start. I was in the lower section on the East Side and our fans were quiet, obviously little pockets were trying to get some noise going but we were all over the place, I'd lost my voice after 20 minutes, others around me hadn't uttered a word of support. Or I hadn't noticed them.
We've touched on the subject now for as long as I can remember and still nothing positive has been done to improve the atmosphere for EVERY home game at home. We can do it as was proved last season, especially for the Millwall first leg,
I've gone on about this for too many years now because its always been a problem with City fans except perhaps during our backs to the wall seasons at Boothferry Park when we congregated in the Kempton.
I noticed we have a lot of younger fans these days, like I was in the mid 60's on Bunkers Hill, and it's down to todays generation to create something, yes like Boro had, and really get the stadium rocking next season because our home form and support will be massively important.
I hope there are people out there, a lot younger than me, who are thinking along the same lines.

They do one at Ibrox but not many season ticket holders make use of it,I've heard it's more bother than it's worth.I can get a seat there most games throughout the season if I wanted too as I have loads of mates who go,obviously v Celtic is a bit different.

What most fans do at Ibrox(if there's a large group of them and 1 or 2 aren't going) is stand with their season pass above their head and if someone wants in they'll swipe them in for nowt....It's a lovely thing to see in action to be honest.
