It will be very sweet when Ramsey gets over this spell and starts to play to his high potential. But I doubt you will praise him when this happens. Because jumping on a young players back after a run of poor form in his first season as a first team player is an easy thing to do.

You are all arguing but none of you seem to have worked out that when you play with this many inconsistent players, the only consistent thing is us being inconsistent. if players need games they should go on loan. Frimpong is where Wilshere was 2 seasons ago - lets not forget he missed last season due to injury. He should go out on loan and come back stronger for us. I think Ramsey is very lightweight but he gets box to box and sometimes making that run is enough to draw players to him which makes space for others. He certainly should not be starting every game. Rosicky gives us more pace in the middle, he should certainly be playing more games. Arteta seems to be the constant here, we need his ability to hold the ball and play simple passes. Everyone knows I don't rate Song, the fact we looked bad today doesn't show how much we miss him, it shows how bad we are in that position. Any big oaf can do what Song does, I said it once and I will maintain it. He is the best of a bad bunch that we have 'currently'. Frimpong needs more experience, he isn't ready to command the role. Bottom line is we got 3 points, **** performance, why Arshavin got on the pitch I will never know, as confused as everyone else about that. With the fixtures coming thick and fast and our players 'allegedly' being tired just after the last international break, I shudder to think how we will get on this winter. What a load of rubbish. Ramsey will be World class. not just decent but WORLD CLASS. There's alot that annoyed me about todays performance but ramsey was'nt one of them. He has been making mistakes but he also works extremely hard is is constantly 'involved'. He's just the latest whipping boy much like Walcott and Song were a few years back.
Arsenal fans have seen Fabregas and Wilshere show such amazing performances week in week out and then compare that to Ramsey. Wilshere and Fabregas are freaks and not many young players can do what they did. Ramsey is clearly not in that level. He clearly can't sustain any form but as Hothead pointed out not many can in this squad.
Not having a player like Ramsey in the squad when we are taking about Arsenal (injuries) is a no go for me. Rosicky and Diaby? Come on. These guys are not to be trusted upon staying fit.
If you are serious about winning anything you have to play your BEST players , he seems to keep playing Ramsey in the folorn hope ( contagious on here it seems ) that he will one day come good . THIS IS THE DAY ! THE DAY IS NOW ! and we cant wait around for the non performers to get their asses in gear. Whats Benayoun done to be on the bench and getting the last crumbs of the game .? Also i'm confused why Jayram (and others) seems to think Ramsey is slow?, I've actaully been pretty impressed by his turn of pace in recent weeks. He's a hell of alot quicker than Arteta, Wilshere, Rosicky or even Song. No Ramsey works hard ,tackles and tries ambitious things. Its not like Denilson who gets scared by the big occassion. Ramsey has the most abilty and puts in the most effort that's why he's starting games.
