Some saying Russell Martin but he would be very demanding I think and not sure his style of football would go down well.

Doesn’t matter what Duxbury says as Gino will probably just sack them and get his own man in like with Edwards , Cleverley

Meanwhile, Tom Ince and Papy Mendy are both set to leave the club after Watford opted not to activate the additional year clauses in their respective contracts.

The futures of Saba Goglichidze, James Abankwah and Luca Kjerrumgaard are still to be determined with all three due back in Italy with Udinese for pre-season.

As expected Formose Mendy won’t sign permanently with the same expected for Pierre Ekwah.

He's not a leader, but he generally performs much better when the team is playing well. I think he ups his game but cannot drag others up when they are not performing around him. Never our motm when we've played poorly.
Personally I'm happy for him to stay.

Fair comment. I'm a tad ambivalent - but my comment was really aimed at those 'fans' who seem unable to exist without choosing at least one player to vent their spleens at.

Seems to be popular with players and managers probably as he works hard but has limitations as one footed .

Checking his CV suggests that, whilst he's had his ups & downs like every manager has done, he has experienced success in a better League.

But three big positives are
1. He has a track record of successfully incorporating young players into his teams.
2. He doesn't rigidly stick to a favourite formation if it's not working with the players at his disposal - is quite prepared to change.
3. He is fluent in English.

For me, those alone are a huge improvement on the recent past. But I guess, if he is appointed, it will be down to how he gets on with Gino.

Yes that is true and seems good .

But as you say will get get the time and players?!
