Watch yourselves guys/gals we might just be labeled "doom mongers". **** that ****, that was not up to the standard, and as much as it pains me to say, Swarbs is right, we do this to ourselves all the time. Every time we look like we can kick on, we drop the ball. We need to not only have the quality but that passion as well. But you know what too, well done to Wigan and Martinez, they didn't really park the bus ( too much) and came at us. Moses is looking like some player too.
Credit to Wigan they played well, but we were pants. Pen was poor, easy place for the keeper to get a hand to. Defence looked to gun-ho at times and if Wigans forward line were better we might have lost. Kuyt worked hard but his general play was rubbish. And whats the point of sending Carroll on for the last ten, failed to make any impact tonight or any of the other times hes come off the bench (if we did sign him for the next 5yrs then they are going to be a painful 5 years). Its all well and good getting good results against the Chavs, Maure and Citeh etc, but these are games we MUST win if we want European football.
Um ya I did, if you are content with continually giving away passes and dribbling into trouble time after time, then that is your perogative but he was not as sharp as he normally is.
Such a good point. I can't remember the last time LFC truly excited me. Actually, I can, it was when we came second a few years ago and just played free flowing footie with goals left right and centre, that game against Real Madrid, 4 nil, god that was such a great feeling. Now I would make do with a scraped win against Wigan and yet we can't even do that.

I think the point LSTUD was making is that in terms of errors and losing the game, Enrique is way way down the list (imo). I can think of quite a few players in the firing line for such a poor performance today that come before Enrique

Another ****ing let down. It really stands out how many average players we have (sure some are youngsters but it doesn't make a difference when they play every week) We have missed 4 penalties this season, that is ****ing unforgivable IMO. Kuyt is just pissing me off now and ive always rated him and why bother putting Carroll on at all if it's gonna be in the 86th minute. We have no chance of top 4 and to all those who give it "look how far we've come" bollox need to wake up cos realistically we couldn't finish lower than 6th and that's exactly where we will end up so where's the progress?
bellamy simply cannot play all the time... his knees won't stand up to it! the fact is the pitch was a little poor so we were tosh... thats not on. carroll would have been a far better option tonight i thought... suarez was totally isolated. Kuyt is gone totally, he can't cope with not playing all the time. maxi was poor... downing was league one. johnson was a bit shaky but the back 4 and reina and henderson were quite respectable..... for me adam was really poor and played with no discipline at all and regressed to his worst. Red you are wrong... we have spent all that money just getting rid of the poulsens.... the squad lacks true quality but we did all we could so far but kenny and comolli need to be seeing the issues and be buying.... kennys fixed the defense since august time and we are mean but the thing is let down by carroll not trying much and the guys like maxi and kuyt
