Any advice on getting the tube or train after the match back to Watford?
We usually drive and park near wembley but decided to travel friday and stay over, have never been on the tube before.

Yes,they went on sale at 1pm and I saw somewhere that they'd sold 10,000 by 6 pm but all their coaches had been booked and they were telling fans to make sure they could get transport sorted as they couldn't provide anymore seats on them.
Watford junction for the overground (Lioness Line) direct to Wembley central, or change at Kenton to get to Wembley Park, top of Wembley way.

I don’t know if the overground has a direct link to Watford or not, but if it does that is probably going to be your easiest choice. The tube will be busy. With a capital B. If you or your party don’t deal well with crowds and being packed into a tube like sardines I would strongly recommend finding something to do for awhile after the game for the crowd to disperse before heading for the tube.
There are several stations in Watford, where are you staying?
Usually one set of fans leave on final whistle and the other lot stay around for an hour

holiday inn express, were now thinking of driving and parking up near wembley and just going home after the match
Oh and if you do get on a packed tube try and stay next to the door as believe me you will appreciate being able to stick your head out at every stop! And take your jumper off before getting on. It will be like an oven.
