So we still can't be sure who we're facing
They wont have a choice, they will just get cancelled and refunded.......................unless they win their appeal.Do the Southampton fans who have bought tickets to the game have to accept refunds?
If it takes 3 wise men ages to make a decision how come the second lot can do it in 24 hours.

Don’t think they will get on that now. My lad booked on that a week ago.Last train to Middlesbrough leaves Kings Cross 20.03.
Me neither given they've already admitted to 3 specimen charges of 'spying' (no doubt there's more), can't see what they can argue, severity of punishment? Should have thought of that before they sent the secret squirrel off on his missions.I don't see how they're going to be put back in.

I imagine we've taken a majority of the train spots and booked a lot of the coaches in the North East.Don’t think they will get on that now. My lad booked on that a week ago.

Not a 'retrial', of guilt or not, an appeal against whether the process to make the decision outcome / penalty imposed was within the rules discretion given to the panel. In essence did they follow the facts of the process given and where they permitted under the rules to expell Southampton and give a future points penalty. If it takes 3 wise men ages to make a decision how come the second lot can do it in 24 hours.
Imagine being Oli McBurnie. Missed out on a World Cup despite being best Scotland striker.Imagine being Tommy Conway. Missed out on a Wembley appearance and a World Cup for getting injured in a pointless irrelevant game.
Maybe they should recalculate the table and exclude all Southampton matches? It could get more interesting yet,
From Sky website.
Wrexham, who finished the regular season seventh, are believed to be monitoring the situation. Sky Sports News understands they will not make a decision on any possible action until after the appeal hearing.
I think they have to add that bit so an appeal rejection doesn't look like a foregone conclusion. That's all it is imo.Could well be another twist yet and a change of date and maybe venue ?
