It would be interested to see how other clubs would react in Boro's shoes - both club and fanbase. Hull give us a bit of insight for comparison. Does Fibson dictate the tone and the fans follow or is there something in the water?

Boro's club ownership are clearly driving all this. The fans are a mixed bag, like you get with every club. We obviously see the vocal crazies calling for all sorts of punishments but I know a Boro fan who thinks Gibson's gone too far and made the club look bad, finds the whole thing embarrassing and thinks Boro would be a laughing stock if they went up having lost the play off semi-final.

Reactions: Archers Road
Not just us, but Hull too
Be ridiculous if Boro went through at your expense. Any offence committed by Southampton was off the field of play, therefore any punishment should also be off the field of play.
Also it would be ridiculous if the game were called off or postponed when around 70,000 tickets have already been sold. Fans of both clubs want the game to go ahead. We don't get to Wembley that often - this will be only our 5th ever visit - and some of our younger fans have never seen us there (and who knows when the next opportunity might be?)
I reckon Southampton will be hit with
a) A heavy fine - Maybe £2M
b) ongoing investigation into individuals at the club, which could lead to said individuals being banned from the game for a year or so if found guilty of repeated spying or whatever the charges are.

With punishments, i feel this is the thing. Swindon got kicked out of the EFL cup for fielding illegal players on the pitch in a game. Our misdemeanours (wrong i agree) were off pitch, and like financial issues and should be dealt with by off pitch sanctions,

Pep Guardiola leaving is the perfect smokescreen for the outcome to be released quietly today.

Does anyone know if Tonda is involved in the hearing, or is it just club representatives?

Just club representatives. No punishments on individuals can be handed out at this hearing.
