I agree he is nowhere near where he was 20 years ago, but he still is a winner, picks up trophies wherever he goes. Won the league cup and Europa League with a really **** Man United team, won the conference with Roma and nearly got back to back European trophies but lost the Europa final the year after, he probably would have even won the league cup with Spurs had they not sacked him 6 days before the final, which is still one of the stupidest decisions from any board, ever! Replacing Jose with Ryan Mason 6 days before a cup final.
He is not up there with Pep, Klopp, Ancelotti, Enrique, but he is the tier under them (They are S, he is A)

Klopp did well at Livpl and his Dortmund stint wasn't bad either and that's about it, not sure why he's mentioned in the same breathe as serial winners Pep and Ancelotti on the football managerial spectrum of absolute legends of the game tbh.

He’s not close to Pep or Ancelotti

Slot has won the same amount of titles for Liverpool as Klopp yet their fans want him gone

klopp also won the CL with Liverpool and finished on 90+ points twice, had it not been for Pep and the City £££ he woud have won at least one more league title, but I can see the argument

I would say so.
How often does a team get over 90 points in the PL and NOT win the league? I think thats probably the only time that has happened.
Plus Klopp won the league and FA Cups with Liverpool too, and even half of Slots credit for his league title should go to Klopp imo, he built that team and Slot just came in and said "As you were...." now his influence has truly taken over, we can see the dip in quality between the two

Klopp is no doubt a top manager but he’s not close to Pep or Ancelotti imo.

They’re serial winners over a long long time.

I thought a lot of overseas clubs, ie Spain etc, open up for training days, I'm sure some of them are very well attended. Also a good money maker for the clubs if they sell drinks and food, maybe not so much in England because we are a bunch of fannies and everything will be H&S, so not worth the grief.

AI Overview

Spanish football clubs, particularly giants like FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, frequently host well-attended open-door training sessions, often drawing thousands of fans, especially during festive periods or before major matches. [1, 2]

In the States I believe baseball teams do it, and so do boxers (or they used to. Both Ali and Foreman had open sparring sessions, as did Mike Tyson).

So ... Ranieri actually won the EPL twice then - given Mourino's first title was with the squad largely built by Ranieri?

He might have won a league title had we stuck with him, but Jose's team the following season was completely different.
That summer Roman was splashing cash all over the place, we signed Drogba, Robben, Cech, Ferreira and Carvalho, who all went straight into the starting XI, so no, not the same team at all.

Was obviously just facilitating a shout out to Claudio and the class of 2015/16 ... although it was, I believe, Ranieri, who told Roman to splash the cash on Drogba rather than Jose...
