As a new story is coming out in Bernie Ecclestones UNOFFICIAL Biography That Alonso alledgedly ordered Ron Dennis to sabotage Hamiltons car at Hungary 2007 by underfilling it with fuel. This attaches on to past conspiracies:

    1) Hamilton at Brazil 2007 and his 'Gearbox Glitch'

    2) Alonso at China 2007 and the over inflated tyres.

there were also conspiracies last season with Button in monaco and Turkey.

What kind of a team is Mclaren running here?

Going the same way as the rest of the field, what with Red Bulls front wing debarcal last season, Feraris white powder in the fuel tank goings on, Brawns over torquing clutches on Rubens car, Renaults crashgate, Hondas underweight car, etc.

    ;-)

exactly. I dont belive in any of it. well most of it (embarrased about crash-gate). Some f1 fanboys make the sport to be so dark and run by gangsters but most of the time its just a plain motorsport with normal personalitied team members. Just thought I would nip this artical in the butt quickly as they are making a fuss of it on 606 to far extreams.

It's all rumours about drivers that happen year in year out El_Alonso_King. That's the way F1 has been running for years. It really is a random tool that no-one has heard of to get attention by starting conspiracy stories. As Bob said, this has happened with many teams in the past, so it is to be expected.

Personally, I don't believe in all this who-ha about Alonso and Hamilton. Even as a Hamilton fan-and that this would work in his favour if it were true-it is all a load of nonsense. It's pre-season, what do you expect?

Im an Alonso fan and never belived in the Alonso doesnt like Hamilton. Its all media spin to get interest and people like us talking about F1. I mean when it all started they even made an advert for Merc.

Alonso doesnt like McLaren (The team that he used to support in his childhood but betrayed him)

Its hardly detrayal if you fail to stipulate in your contract that you want no.1 driver status then expect to get it when your early results don't really warrant it. If I had been in Alonsos shoes I'd have felt more betrayed by my manager or legal team who hadn't drawn me up the contract I wanted.

6 years in contract law gefore training to become a barrister taught me that

Just had a thought. What if McLaren did sabotage both drivers from winning the WDC. I mean the uproar about the stolen Ferrari data would have been greater if one of the McLaren guys won the championship. just think about it...

It would fit with Hamiltons "technical issue" early on in the Brazillian GP. But I don't think it's likely.

Ok, so China and Brazil are plausible in Hamilton's case, but which races in 2007 do you think Mclaren might have knobbled Alonso?

I'm fairly sure McLaren would rather take the uproar from winning the Championship than the backlash it would get from sabotaging itself. Sponsorship would be harder to get hold of for example if the team likes to make itself finish lower down the rankings.
