Just to put this in context here is a comment copied from chippy saint in the Mail Online -

"Boro fans are getting all righteous and indignant about this but you only have to search the "Fly Me To The Moon" online fanzine for Boro supporters to see lots of information and advice about how fans can go and view the club's training sessions at Rockcliffe Hall by parking in the golf club carpark or walking along the public footpath adjacent to the training pitches. They even mention how sometimes the players will come over and interact with the fans, signing autographs etc and how security at the golf course will point fans in the right direction. Clearly the club is well aware that these pitches are visible to the public and have been for years. Therefore, this faux outrage over alleged spying is just trying to game the system. If they had any secrets worth keeping, why hold their training sessions somewhere they can be easily seen by passersby?"

Is this really CRIME OF THE CENTURY as the Media are trying to present it?
Also if you approach from the hotel/golf course are there any signs saying that you can’t photo or video any of the training pitches?

Don't know about anyone else but I've completely changed my mind on the matter now I've heard his view.

Looking forward to the next celeb to be rolled out. Who are famous M’Boro fans? Chris Kamara is isn’t he?

Sorry to burst balloons…so wish it was true…surely Saints would have come out and denied it after cursory enquiries of staff.

I think it's possible that we can understand something has happened, but equally that the evidence provided by Boro is not ultimately sufficient.

Along the lines of - 'there was a Southampton staff member in the vicinity but we have no more detail than that', bear in mind that the vast amount of what we have heard on this so far is conjecture. The only thing we really know is the accusation and that we have been charged.

How public though is the land that is owned by a hotel. You might have right as a member of the public to walk through certain parts but it can’t all be public surely. You can’t just turn up and play a round of golf for free

If he ran off to the golf club bogs and got changed and then drove away as reported how do Boro even know what equipment he had or if he had deleted any footage? There are more holes than in swiss cheese in their story.

They can probably get away without playing Boro v Millwall tbh.

If they did it by forfeit then Boro won our tie. Millwall's loss to Hull is a done deal.
Hull might then complain that they fancied playing us rather than them up north if they happen to loose the final. It’s a can of worms

We did such a bloody stupid thing for very questionable benefit

Apart from unlikely chance of Boro moving into final, no punishment will benefit them.
Don’t tell the Boro fans and their mythical “Don Gibbo” that. They seem to think they are entitled to be rewarded for this

I’ve just seen a comment on a YouTube video where one says “a points deduction for next season won’t help us now”. Full mask off right there. What would have helped them is winning the tie.

As I’ve said above - if they were told “no chance you are being put through instead” then they wouldn’t be running their own private detective agency and trying to supply evidence of other cases to the EFL. They’d quieten down pretty quickly. Maybe they’d try to collect more evidence for a separate case - but not this current one
