I was worried with Scienza injured and Charles Stewart and Matsuki already on the pitch, I didn’t think our subs would have the same impact. Larin was great though. Edozie did ok, unlucky to have his shot saved.

I see that the crying on social media has expanded from just Boro fans to clubs across different leagues all pilling in on us now. It's almost as if the relentless reporting from the north east reporters with a set narrative that has spread across the media has influenced people. Reading that the commentary and punditry last night followed that same narrative that we are the devil incarnate? So funny the selective screenshots and outrage from moments last night that are very narrative heavy too, and avoid any context. Like the ball boy 'incident', and the pile in on THB when we don't even know what was actually said, likewise with Tonda getting shirty with the ref and Hellberg, and the outrage about not getting penalties ignoring that we had more shouts for penalties than they did. Just hope all this build up in narrative doesn't feed into the people deciding the punishment.

That ball boy incident it pissing me off. Because sky and all the others have conveniently cut out the part where Targett ignores a ball closest to him to dawdle further away to try and waste time.

I assume the EFL will only look at facts, not opinions. Anything they do has to legally enforceable. Witch-hunts are so much smoke, and hot air. Well the bonfires were.

It's pathetic TBH. Every club has had a ball boy that has done similar. Hazard was condemned for getting in a scrap with one to get the ball back at Swansea several years back. People need to grow up quite frankly. It's not as if we've given our players PED's in their food. Well, not that we know about anyway. :bandit:

I don't know. The way Jander has been performing over the last month he must be on something <laugh>

Why is so much being made of the ball boy thing? Looked to me like one of our subs had the ball and was offering it to them and they went to get one of the other ones instead?

Was it on here that I read that ball people (they can be boys or girls lol) are not allowed to give the ball to the players and they have to pick it up from the cone? That is what he was saying too to the player.

That's a very good point. I know that's the case in the PL so presumably it's the same in the EFL.
