The Old Testament is basis for Judaism, Islam and Christianity. The stories it contains tell of murder, worshipping false idols, extream violence, whores, theives, racism, sacrifices, and many other unpleasantries. It may be an ancient book but it remains relevant to the present.
Some of the stories could be Hollywood blockbusters, a remake of Moses starring Billy Connelly would do for starters and Sean Connery could play God
