Bye bye Huns...just the Sellick to see off now! 3 to go....

Told a pal who was a scout at QPR years ago to have a look at Shankland, we could have got him for peanuts but went for Dykes instead <doh>

Clarke will still have him behind Dykes and Che Adams in the US

Unfortunately true....he loves Dykes :emoticon-0136-giggl

Dykes does do well for Scotland, they play to his strengths (unlike us when we couldn't put a cross in to the box). Shankland is a different type of player.

Shankland is my work partners nephew, so get a lot of goss...(his son-in-law is also involved with the Scotland team) I saw Shankland early in his career when he was on loan at Morton, he had a great strikers instinct. Shankland is a boyhood Rangers fan, but they turned down the opportunity to sign him three times so he's really fired up this season. His wifes family are hardcore Celtic so he's really causing some grief for them too <laugh>

I’d like to think at least in the Haiti game he’ll give Shankland a chance from the start. Probably not. Ten minutes when 2-0 down to Morocco.

What a 15 minutes in the Everton game.

I don't watch PL stuff, but in a pub up in the Highlands tonight after watching the Hearts v Rangers game (got abused by a Ross County fan for living in Greenock due to results at the weekend giving them a double relegation!) and watching this game....strong turnaround by Everton after an awful first 45, then a really solid response by Citeh to get back level...but found the whole game quite sterile compared to the chaos of the EFL. The Arse in the driving seat now for the title....

Great fun today watching the Forest win in the company of two Scummers a Hammer and a Gooner. Much hilarity at how **** Chelsea are.

That second half of the City game was a very rare case of the Prem being exciting. Quite Championshippy with all the chaos and poor defending.

Arsenal’s games have fallen quite kindly and West Ham on Sunday is a bit of a banana skin after a European semi but they’ve plenty of time to recover. Far from guaranteed City best Bournemouth away three days after the cup final so the title is done if they do do the business at Wham. Probably ensuring Spurs stay up in the process.

Angelo Balanta’s Hornchurch won the NLS playoff final against Torquay. Equalised very late in normal time then nicked it towards the end of extra time.
