I'm afraid your logic is flawed. One, if heaven and hell exist then they exist, whether you believe in them or not. Two, Tony Blair and George W Bush are ****s who are responsible for the deaths of thousands due to their actions but are both believers.
You don't have to know them personally. What about saints and martyrs who have lived spotless lives but been persecuted and died horribly? The solace thing doesn't matter either. In order to find solace, they must be suffering in the first place. But you implied that they wouldn't suffer because they are devout and pious. So which is it? Do they (a) not suffer ever because of their lifestyle, or do they (b) just deal with the suffering better? If it's (a) what about saints and martyrs? If it's (b) why does God let them suffer when they adhere to his rules?
Oh I believe they do exist. However if you dont believe then how could they? that was the point Its simple really, the main thing is belief in a deity. Its like having a MAKRO card (or such) you cant get in if yu are not a member Tony and George 'say' they are believers. 'Its by their actions you will know them' not what they say etc
(a) What about them? Useless ****in do gooders. (b) Cos he's a ****. If he exists. Which he doesn't. But if He does exist I'm sure He'll forgive my foolishness.
He is my light and He is my Saviour. In the twilight of my life and as the remains of the day draw to a close that ought to butter the **** up enough to let me in.
see above but add the bit as to what you are using as your measure. You may see someon and think they are devout/pious, says who?
how so? as i said to a previous poster, have you read any of the 'books' with regards to what is a sinner and what is not?
