To be honest i can see Hull staying up there for the rest of the season. I, as well as most LCFC fans, liked Fryatt and Hobbs because they were honest grafters. Fryatt destroyed Lg1 and helped us return in 1 season. Unfortunately Fryatt can go through very barren patches which is something you can ill afford if you expect to challenge for top 6 in the CCC. Hobbs was a no nonsense player and that worked v well alongside Brown until he went all BNP. But he would never feature over Bamba and Mills and he needs game time. I do think he will turn into a great solid defender in years to come. Im hoping NP will simply get rid of those who just dont want to know and get Walshy working some magic Good luck for the season though
Jack Hobbs was a very good defender and I didnt want him to go. I think he is better then Sean St. Ledger and a better option then Tunchev purely because of his injuries. But he isnt as good as Mills or Bamba
I often wonder who is better between Hobbs and St Ledger. Trouble with Shaun is that he's either brilliant or ****e when he's brilliant he' better but when he's ****e he's worse. Overall I think SSL is a touch better because he is better in the air and on the deck but his positional sense is lacking where Hobbs was always in the right place at teh right time. So for me Bamba > Mills > Chester > Tunchev > SSL > Hobbs although all of those centre halfs could easily go into any other team in this league. Dull and ourselves are blessed with good defences.

The difference between Leeds & Leicester fans is that most of us admit we're crap, just not as crap as you lot. Stop deluding yourselves that you're any good. I know it's difficult to believe how bad you are considering the amount you've spent, but if you stopped having such high expectations and accept you've found your level as a mid-table Championship club the more you'll relax & enjoy the season. No amount of money will ever make Leicester City a bigger cluib than Leeds United- it's a waste of time aspiring to be. As the old saying goes, you can't polish a turd.

I think its going to be very interesting to see if NP does actually make any bids for Hull players - i can only see Waghorn returning currently. But NP will need to decide first andf foremost if any particular player can fit around our core squad. I personally would like to see Schlupp get a decent go...a young player who will jump at the chance to play over Nugent and Beckford! Thats what we need right now
Would have been interesting to see him play along side Nugent his work rate is better than Beckford's? However its History now. To be honest our current strke force hasnt exactly been firing on all cylinders...and NP's record with LCFC is unquestionable. If for what ever reason he gives big Steve more game time then il stand by it.

I'll tell you why I post on your board: A) because you're a fellow Championship team who I'm interested in and B) because I like to see you lose thanks to the way your club's run and the way every fans of yours I've encountered has supported the board's excessive spending over the summer.
