Called the El Pastico for a reason

Pasty you say ?

There's a cracking pasty shop called Gear Farm down here.

Not usually a huge fan, but these mofos are the size of a dinner plate and made on the farm.

Oozing with flavour .

Couldn’t ask for a better time to play Villa. If anything there’s an incentive to lose to put Forest in the **** ahead of the Europey game. Given Spurs are back you can’t see them not getting something.

Not sure who's going to get a goal for us but agree with the psychology behind the game

Anyway 3 posts in a row

dangerous territory

Be back soon

Edit: ignore that you broke it up for me(no surprises)...fanks

A cheese n onion pasty is one of the best things ever

Quality counts

Lots of filling

balanced between cheese, onion and potato

ratios of ingredients are pivotal

Yeah fair. Don’t want to know what I spent on train/hotel/ticket/food and drink to see a tepid meaningless defeat there last season purely for the pointless accolade of completing the league. Could probably do a couple of weeks in Dubai 5* for what you’ve spent this season.
Our 4-0 defeat up there was one of the worst aways this season. I did make the excellent decision to stay in York the night before though so that made it worthwhile at least.

I plan on working out total cost once the season done. Gotta pushing 3k I reckon.

Be a shame to miss out, Libby. I can give you a £100 that should cover your ticket and fuel. It won’t be a loan, I don’t want it back. Like I said, it would be a shame for you to miss out after all the effort you have put in all season.

That's very kind of you mate but I can't do that.

Tickets on sale tomorrow so I'll sleep on it tonight and make a decision then.

I like a good traditional beef pasty

And if it's made on a beef farm or at a butchers then it's going to be quality

Like you say, onion and potato ratios are pivotal. Too much potato can ruin a pasty

Gear Farm sounds more like something you'd find hidden away in the Colombian rainforest.

Greggs have ruined pasties.. Pastry and sauce... Pure ****e

Original best cheese n onion pasties and still a benchmark for me are the Greggs cheese n onion pasties...always plenty filling for pasty size and good ingredient ratio.

I have found the hipster types inventing their own balance and take on pasties is what has ruined it with many opting to fill them with potato, totally messing up the cheese ratio.

Idiots

I happily still venture into Greggs for one or a Tuna crunch baguette if mood gets me

Pasty ****er snobs

You'd rather over pay for an unbalanced pasty just cos it's got a gay hipster name attached to it and purchased from a bespoke pasty shop that do ****ed up fillings like pumpkin and onion jam to totally **** the concept up

The pastry has to be bang on too and Greggs still do a quality pastry.

Want to try the chicken sausage roll just to say it’s ****e and for Sucky to claim it as part of a Halal takeover.

There's a FB group that pops up on my feed called Reject Religiously Slaughtered Meat and Halal Certified Products

It's dressed up as an animal welfare group, but it's basically full of flag shagging Reform voters, racists and conspiracy theorists.

And the reason it pops up on my feed is because I challenge these mofos, so the algorithms ply me with ****e like this <laugh>

Yeah I can believe that

I don't do meat pasties cos they not halal init but when I make a mince meat n potato n onion pasty at home...it's a banger for sure

Need to get some of those Halal butchers to make some beef pasties bro.

They are missing a trick.

The butcher in my town makes a ****ing banging pasty. They fly off the shelf, so if you can get one they are usually still warm too from coming out of the oven.
