    Ok, calm down Sky.

The length of ban is VERY relevant. It justifies everything everyone is saying to you.

Are you happy to go along with what one person has uttered to a ref who then scribbled it into a notebook?

Is that evidence enough for you Sky? Is that justice Sky? I'd like more. Much more.

Such a punishment makes it sound very cut n dry to me. (But you're claiming it's NOT scape-goating?)

So, why no report/explanation? - Why no decision earlier? LET ALONE EVIDENCE!! ??????? Sky?

Arsenal fan living in Liverpool, but currently in Sheffield :)

Suarez is a great player, there's no doubt about that. If he's been convicted on the basis of one persons accusation, with no backup at all from anyone else, then it's a sham. It should be "unproven." You can only convict on either video evidence, or with corroboration from someone else.

I personally hope he appeals and it gets reduced. Especially as Evra has previous for this, and I don't think he's ever been proven to be telling the truth before.

Like I said last night - I wasn't at the hearing so I can't answer that. Also if we win the appeal I'll happily eat my own words.

I agree the whole thing is as fishy as you like. But I'm no expert so all I'm doing is simply giving my OWN views, nothing more, nothing less <ok>

Why do you hope he appeals and get it reduced ? Have you seen the evidence ?

You are relying on a statement from Liverpool football club - personally I will wait to see the evidence presented before damning either player ( something others are failing to do for both Suarez and Evra ).

The people defending Suarez without seeing any evidence are just as bad as those accusing Suarez without seeing the evidence.

    SHAM. Agreed. AGENDA. Defs.

PREVIOUS - yup, no "witnesses" this time eh? Shut up shop. Closed ranks.

I sincerely hope the FA are hanging themselves with their own rope here. The Terry outcome goes to the Met eh? Least he'll get a fair hearing then...but depending on what the FA do to Terry (footballingwise)...they could be getting themselves into serious issues here.

I for one, have seen the FA conduct themselves in a less than unprejudiced manner many times. We all have. Interesting coupla months.

Sky is letting HIS OWN prior experiences on Racism, cloud his judgement ,and that is prejudicing is view on Suarez/Evra.Everyone impartial on this matter is saying it was very cloudy, grey, not open and shut.If the evidence isnt clear, open and shut, there is reasonable doubt. If there is reasonable doubt he should have been acquited and will be if it goes to a REAL court

Then you understand why people are so anxious to see evidence then Eric? To go along with kangaroo court is NOT ok? - that what you're saying????

I don't get why there are constant bleatings that there is 'no evidence'. He admitted saying it. What more evidence is neccessary?
All that was then needed was whether it was done in a derogative manner and that's it, guilty.

As Sky quite rightly pointed out, given he said it during the heat of a match against rivals that loathe each other, is it REALLY likely to be anything other than derogative? Seriously?

yes but if you were in another country and everone else was driving on the wrong side of the road you might believe it is allowed - same with the smoking dope in holland comparison - if someone went to holland they would see that smoking dope is legal - so if suarez called evra by the same name as his team mates then he may believe it is acceptable

...because he has received "sentence" Eric...

Leads to the question - what is the purpose of the appeal window?

For the FA to gauge public opinion?

Or maybe you are letting your own love for your club cloud your judgement ?

We haven't seen the evidence but you seem sure it is not a open and shut case ? The only evidence that we have is that Suarez was charged and found guilty - (albeit the FA are ****) but that is all we can go on for now.

The sooner evidence is presented the better for everyone.
