One of the things I certainly DON'T miss from working in an office in England is the dreaded Secret Santa. What is the best/worst/most embarrassing/most amusing item you have given or received as a 'Secret Santa' gift?
You know what I got for Christmas? I got a carton of cigarettes. The old man grabbed me and said, "Hey, smoke up!"
A group of uni mates did "Secret Santa but you're not allowed to pay any money". So all gifts had to be either found or stolen.
Ours last year was pretty good, £100 each so you could buy something pretty decent. I got a bottle of Aftershave and a small hamper. Gave to some bit of gash a scarf, hat and glove set.
Haven't really had a bad secret santa pressy, but last year my boss came on to me. She was 50 odd and a alcholic so wasn't good . She even handed me her mobile number on a piece of paper, now that's embarrassing. Glad she's not my boss anymore
That's a great idea and would suit me and my equally tight mates perfectly. One mate got me a tyre for my 21st.
