As clueless as Venkys are (should that be ****ys?) I can only assume they were hoping that by giving him time (and then more time) he would turn it around.

But when the manager simply isn't up to the task..... time will not help one iota.

But now it seems a lack of money - or at least severe cash flow problems in the short term - are the main headache for the owners. So maybe sacking the manager and replacing him (plus making cash availabe for new players?) just isn't an option they have right now.

It's an expensive league that Premier League. But it's even more expensive if you get relegated from it without a solid fall-back plan.

Who on this board really gives a t*ss about Blackburn - Lancashire town a third the size of Hull that wouldn't be any where near the PL had it not been for Jack Walkers millions in the 90's.

They're not hovering at the bottom end of the third tier of English football like we were for many years under Fish Dolan Lloyd Hateley et al.

They've punched above their weight for years and have now run out of luck.

i am afraid its that far fetched it could well be true. lets face it the PL is festooned with dodgy owners. ffs, we just had one but on a much smaller scale. the the writer said, ""if true people are going to jail"" and if proved, Blackburn should be relegated down to league 2 at least. but alas i dont see how anyone can unless part of the group own up to it which is again highly unlikely. :emoticon-0112-wonde:emoticon-0127-lipss

it would be nice to think it was just a nicely written article to get people talking, but it does answer many questions as to why Steve Kean is still in the job. I was expecting by 12-noon to hear of the sacking of Steve Kean. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

at the moment he appears safer than SAF and Wenger are. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Big Sam would have to be played by Ray Winstone. Would probably have to dub the voice though, possibly by Joe Pasquale.

And for the Godfather that is Kean, would have to be De Niro.
