Ipswich Marketing team: What could possibly go wrong?
Team Farage: hold this shirt up Nigel
Delia paid for Remain campaign people to go to London on free buses & had Ukraine & LGBT+ flags over the stadium .

Political chat is/was always toxic ^ best avoided .
The baseball guy dropped all that garbage

Liam Manning has been given compassionate leave at Huddersfield, for the rest of the season. I personally didn't know he was dealing with a loss of a child.

Huddersfield Town Men’s First Team Head Coach Liam Manning has been granted compassionate leave for the remainder of the 2025/26 Sky Bet League One season.

Liam has made the Club aware of ongoing personal matters relating to the tragic passing of his newborn son Theo in October 2024, and he will now be given time away from his professional duties.

Poor guy (and family). Whatever it is, it's completely understandable. Football results and performances aside, never had a problem with the guy

Anyone else noticed this recently.
A lot of players are now wearing protective bandages on wrists, lower arms and fingers.
I have also noticed they regularly hold the bandaged area to their nose and inhale.
Any idea what is going on?
Surely not inhaling something, or are they?

It seems likely that 2 of the 3 teams that went up last year will stay up - a welcome change. Am I alone in thinking that the 3 Clubs that go up this season will come straight back down.
One of the teams staying up might have 2nd season syndrome, as always it is harder and harder for the teams that go up to stay up

Just read that Championship clubs have voted against having VAR in the league next season and also between the lines until at least the 2028-29 season.
Cost was one of the major reasons, though if it's now used in France's, Spain's Germany's & elsewhere (?) second division, that excuse seems like obfusticational bollocks.

So guess get prepared for extra Tom Daley penalty decisions!

VAR has its faults but they can be rectified unlike incompetent or corrupt referees.
